French R2R decoder, Totaldac D1-Dual. Reference level fully balanced version, with 200 resistors per channel for digital-to-analog conversion. Built-in pure A preamplifier, which can better directly drive the rear stage, and as a bonus of R2R decoder, a gift amp(6.35 and fully balanced XLR)
The designer Vincent is an engineer who has been engaged in the design of communication circuits for many years. In the analog part, Totaldac does not use a ready-made decoding chip, but uses discrete resistors to build a decoding module. All resistors are strictly screened and matched. In the specific design, D1 Dual uses 200 resistors per channel to achieve low output impedance and a fully balanced design; in terms of clock processing, the designer uses the commonly used first-in, first-out in the communication field(FIFO)Technology makes the decoder''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s internal clock almost unaffected by the external input signal clock; in terms of digital signal processing, Totaldac has a digital filter developed and designed with a DSP chip and a DSD-PCM conversion algorithm. With the split power supply, Totaldac has Enthusiastic and unrestrained sound, coupled with an independent clock processing module, the sound can be further improved. The highest supported format: 24bit 192KHz, DoP.
-192KHz asynchronous Xmos USB interface, optical, RCA and AES-EBU digital input, remote control optional input mode.
-44.1KHz, 48KHz, 88.2KHz, 96KHz, 176.4KHz and 192KHz, 16 to 24 bit format supports all inputs, except for optical fiber, the maximum is 96KHz
-DSD is optional and can be input via USB, AES-EBU and Spdif
-USB input compatible with Jplay in 24 bit"extreme hibernate" mode.
-Embedded Anti-Jitter FIFO memory custom clock
-Maximum 3.1Vrms RCA output, maximum 6.2Vrms XLR output, 32ohm-600ohm 3.1Vrms max amp output.
-Volume control, controlled by remote control, OLED screen display, suitable for all inputs, not only for USB.
-Remote control control phase selection.
-The non-up-conversion DAC compensation filter is switched on and off by the remote control.
-The display switch is controlled by the remote control.
-Even if there are multiple input connections, the unused input terminals are completely disconnected(Including grounding)To maintain the noise level.
-R2R decoding technology uses 0.01% VAR Bulk Metal Foil resistors Vishay Foil resistors, each channel uses 200 pieces.
-Pure class A independent transistor pre-output
-You can use a fully balanced headphone cable with an impedance higher than 45 ohms to connect to the decoded XLR interface for direct drive, and you can get 6.2Vrms and 4 times the driving force. You can use headphones such as Abyss, HD800, Adeze or K701 to listen directly.
-The external split power supply provides a low-noise power supply for the embedded front stage.
-Metal aluminum and PMMA are pasted with a large number of pure copper shock absorbers.
-Power consumption 21W
1KHz -100dBFs sinewave 20Hz-22KHz spectrum at the xlr output:
