【Test before use】

Every time before using the camera housing, please check whether the performance of the housing is good and there is no sand and dust. When the waterproof oil is applied and the camera is not assembled, the inside is filled with tissues（Can better detect whether there is water leakage）, Close the waterproof case and soak in water at least 200 mm deep for at least 5 minutes to ensure that there is no water leakage from the waterproof case. Then soak the waterproof case containing the camera into the water.

【Care after use】

1. Use a lot of fresh water（Tap water or drinking water）To thoroughly clean the exterior of the waterproof case. Do not use water higher than 40°C, as this may damage the waterproof case.
2. If the waterproof case has been used in sea water, longer cleaning time is required. It is recommended to soak in water for several hours.
3. Please make sure that the entire waterproof case is immersed in the water, including the waterproof case safety lock device.
4. In order to avoid sand or dirt from scratching the equipment, please rinse it after soaking, and then use a soft cloth or tissue paper to gently dry the water, and dry it in the shade in a ventilated place.
5. The remaining sea water may cause corrosion of the metal parts of the equipment, which will affect the buttons, hinges and safety lock devices.
6. Please use a soft clean cloth or a blower to clean the inside of the equipment.

7. After removing the silicone sealing ring to clean, please install it with a sealing tape, which can extend the service life. Or cover the camera case. Do not lock the case to keep the sealing ring flexible. Put a moisture-absorbing bag on the entire box and pack it in a sealed bag.

【Diving shell fogging problem】

If the water vapor in the air encounters a low-temperature surface, the air near the low-temperature surface has reached the critical point of saturation humidity, and it will liquefy.
This is what we call fogging. Therefore, whether to liquefy and condense depends on two factors: 1. Humidity in the air 2. Low temperature surface（glass）temperature. The greater the humidity in the air, the lower the temperature of the low-temperature surface, the faster the air with saturated humidity will be generated near the low-temperature surface, and the faster the condensation and liquefaction will occur. Note: The air temperature and temperature difference are not important - for example, very hot hot air, but very dry, will not condense when it encounters a relatively cold surface, because the air on the cold surface has not reached the critical point of saturation humidity. In most cases, the inside of the housing does not get fogged when it hits the water. It usually takes a while to shoot, especially after a lot of flashing lights. During this period, housing low temperature surface（Glass in front of the lens on the case）The temperature of the sea water is basically unchanged, so why does it condense? ----Because the humidity of the air in the shell increases. The shell does not leak water, why does the humidity increase? The reason is that the camera generates heat after the photo is flashed, which evaporates some of the water in the camera into water vapor, thereby increasing the overall humidity in the shell.
Therefore, the cure for the root cause is to control the humidity in the shell --- this is why I wrote before: Put the shell and the camera in the air-conditioned room, and the air-conditioned room should be able to lower the humidity in the camera and the shell overnight. Just install it before going out. ---Of course, it is better if you have a drying oven.
Similarly, putting a desiccant in the shell is also a feasible way, but the desiccant is effective in absorbing moisture. As for the subsequent avoidance of direct sunlight, wrapped in a damp towel, or immersion in a water tank, the ultimate goal is actually to reduce the heat of the camera itself, and to minimize the water vapor that the camera heats up. This can only be regarded as a helpless remedy-because the thermal conductivity of the polyester shell + air is very low, and the heat generated by the camera after a large number of flashes is much greater than the heat transferred to the camera by the air conduction.
